Project Development Coordinator Stuart Calimport's research interests lie in applied biogerontology, RegenMed, objectivity and empiricism in meta-ethics, the value of continuance of life and welfare of individuals, normative implications based on the value of individuals, human enhancement, bioinformatics, complexity studies, biotechnology, non-equilibrium thermodynamic systems, translational research, mitochondrial biology, telomerase biology, adult stem cell biology, cell signaling, cellular senescence and cellular rejuvenation. He gained an MA in Practical Ethics at The University of York in 2011, worked as an intern at ImmunePath Inc. in 2010. He holds an MSc in Molecular Medicine from Imperial College London in 2008 and a BSc in Bioinformatics from the University of Birmingham in 2007. He is a member of the Lifeboat Foundation advisory boards for medicine and complex systems. Stuart joined the ranks of MFURI late 2008, and acted as a mentor and Science Department Head until the change over to SENSFAI mid 2009, where he is now a mentor and advisor for the Academic Initiative and is involved in project creation, developing academic course content and manages the SENSFAI Project Development Committee.
