Extramural Research

SENS Research Foundation has a strong commitment to funding research that furthers our mission. Our extramural research program is particularly robust: we fund research at some of the top universities and research institutions in the world.

In 2012, we expanded our extramural research program, beginning an additional half dozen research projects. We have established new collaborations that include a second project on reseeding gut stem cells at the Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, an economic study on the ramifications of extended healthy life at the University of Denver, and the development of a new mouse model that should be an incredible tool not only for our own scientists, but for medical researchers around the world.
