SENS Research Foundation (SRF) is hiring a Research Assistant for our research center located in Mountain View, CA. We are seeking a research assistant in our LysoSENS group. This project involves working with human blood samples.
This position is for a part-time contract for a period of approximately 6 months.
 
Qualifications: Qualified candidates will be local residents who have a BS or MS in the chemical/biological sciences. Duties will include mostly lab work in a small team-oriented environment. Candidates with basic wet lab experience are encouraged to apply. Experience working with human blood and purifying WBCs is a plus, but not required.

  • Plate-reader operation
  • Protein Quantification (Bradford)
  • Genetics
  • Molecular biology
  • Protein expression and purification
  • Native Gel Electrophoresis and SDS PAGE
  • Immunodetection
  • PyMOL
  • Statistical Analysis
