New Extramural Publication in PLOS One Featuring SRF-Funded Work

SRF’s extramural research program funds research at leading Universities and Research Institutes around the world including Harvard Medical School/Brigham & Women's Hospital, University of Texas-Houston Medical School, Yale University, the Buck Institute for Research on Aging, and many others.

Your donations have enabled us to fund research critical to the search for real cures for age-related diseases, such as the Brigham/Harvard amyloid work by Brian O'Nuallain (Assistant Scientist, Brigham and Women's Hospital/Assistant Professor of Neurology, Harvard Medical School).

The new open-access paper "IgG Conformer's Binding to Amyloidogenic Aggregates" has just been published in PLOS One. This work identifies an inherent amyloid-binding property of human antibodies which may explain the limited success of prior immunotherapy trials. Click to read the paper.
October 1 is International Longevity Day

October 1 is the UN International Day of Older Persons, and it is an emerging tradition for longevity researchers and activists around the world to organize events dedicated to the promotion of longevity research on or around October 1.
