Strategies for Engineered Negligible Senescence, Third Conference
The third SENS conference (SENS3) took place at Queens' College, Cambridge University, UK from 6-10 September 2007.
The proceedings of the conference were published in two volumes (11(1), 11(2)) of Rejuvenation Research, the only international peer-reviewed academic journal focused on the development of therapies to repair age-related damage.
Speakers included former National Institute on Aging director Huber Warner, inventor and futurist Ray Kurzweil, and mitochondrial biologist Marisol Corral-Debrinski - whose work on introducing new proteins into mitochondria helped to shape our intramural MitoSENS research program.
