Bone marrow stem cell therapy: a major breakthrough for chronic diseases and anti-aging
Bone marrow transplants have been in clinical practice since 1968 as a treatment to re-populate the destroyed bone marrow of patients subjected to high dose chemo and radiation therapy for refractory cancer. Surprisingly, virtually no one has thought of using bone marrow as a source of stem cells for treatment of various chronic diseases and for anti-aging purposes.
