Abstract:

Bone marrow transplants have been in clinical practice since 1968 as a treatment to re-populate the destroyed bone marrow of patients subjected to high dose chemo and radiation therapy for refractory cancer. Surprisingly, virtually no one has thought of using bone marrow as a source of stem cells for treatment of various chronic diseases and for anti-aging purposes. The procedure and the positive clinical results of using bone marrow stem cells for a variety of conditions will be presented, as well as some of the theory behind how and why this treatment will soon become widely available since these stem cells are legal, ethically correct, and cost-effective while providing better results than conventional therapy for a whole host of different diseases.
