SRF-Oxford-CTSCC Research Program
In collaboration with the University of Oxford and the Centre for the Advancement of Sustainable Medical Innovation (CASMI) Translational Stem Cell Consortium (CTSCC), SENS Research Foundation is proud to offer a new research opportunity. This program will offer students with limited access to research facilities and laboratory experience an opportunity to participate remotely in non-bench research projects. Students will work in teams to help researchers at the University of Oxford.
Research will focus on understanding the obstacles blocking or slowing the development and research of therapeutics. Such studies could entail the exploration of the shortcomings in drug and device regulation, assessments of the costs and benefits of patenting medical innovations, analysis of the effectiveness of new regulatory pathways for regenerative medicine products, or identifying drivers of effective therapeutic development.
The ultimate goal of this program is to give students the opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research, which will result in peer-reviewed publications.
