Proceedings

The proceedings of SENS5 will be published in special issues of Rejuvenation Research, the highest-impact international peer-reviewed academic journal focused on the development of technologies to postpone and reverse age-related physical and cognitive decline in mammals and eventually humans. All presenters are invited and encouraged to submit a manuscript for publication in the proceedings volume. The deadline for submission is the date of the conference.

Publication in RR means that proceedings articles will appear promptly following the conference — in an early 2012 issue. RR currently has an impact factor of 4.138, placing it among the top gerontology journals and comparable with many of the most prestigious journals in biology.

Instructions for preparation of manuscripts can be found here. Invited speakers (those giving 30-minute talks) should aim for 4000 words (excluding references), a 250-word abstract, no more than 50 references, and no more than four figures or tables. Presenters of short talks and posters should aim for 1500 words (excluding references), a 100-word abstract, no more than 20 references, and no more than one figure or table.
