Research Projects: Overview
One of the SENS Foundation Academic Initiative’s most central activities is to help university students complete research projects related to rejuvenation biotechnologies. We offer assistance on projects in the hard sciences, as well as on projects in other fields like psychology, philosophy, and political science.
To complete a research project with us, you will first need to apply to the Academic Initiative as a student.
How We Help
We can help students find a research project, provide them with mentoring to guide them through the project, and in some cases provide a monetary grant to cover the cost of laboratory materials or provide a scholarly award to support the student.
Selecting a Project
Students who have been accepted to the Initiative can either apply for one of our listed “available projects,” or register an unlisted project. Such an unlisted project could be laboratory-based work to be done under a professor at the student’s university, a literature review to be done with/for such a professor, or a literature review that the student has personally thought of. When a student applies for or registers a project that involves laboratory work, that student may also apply for a grant to cover the cost of materials.
